Alan Wolfe is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life at Boston College. He is the author and editor of more than 20 books, including, the forthcoming Political Evil: What It Is and How to Combat It (2011) and most recently, The Future of Liberalism (Knopf, 2009).
